Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Article 1
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
We are all born free and equal, would be the essence of the first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which is one of the greatest documents of the modern civilization.
Read and learn the Article 1 and tell it your children, neighbors, friends and colleagues. Write a blog, status or tweet about human rights today. It takes only a few seconds of your time, but it brings light to the lives of people in trouble. In the world of today, we see a mountain of constitutions, laws and regulations, and statements by politicians and public figures who declare their commitment to human rights and freedoms. Yet, we see hundreds of millions of people in the world who are treated inhumanely. Treating people as second class beings, discrimination, and enslavement is common news. Governments and corporations are using the power of money, bureaucracy and media to manipulate and exploit people.

Today might be the day when you say STOP to all that. Remember and remind everyone around you that “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood”, as it is stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. You have that right, as much as everyone else on Earth.
Today, we invite individuals, groups, civil society organizations and institutions to support our HUMAN=RIGHTS project by sending messages of support to our action, information on activities on human rights and freedoms, photographs and stories about human rights violations.
